Are you looking to sell your home, how about trying a different approach?

After nearly 20 years in High Street Estate Agency I decided to jump ship and become a fully self employed Independent Estate Agent. Aside from the obvious work/life balance my reasons were very simple; I wanted to be able to provide a proper service, where the seller and their property remained the main thing at all times. Dealing with only a handful of clients at any one time allows me to fully focus on achieving the very best for each individual. In all honestly that is what makes the job interesting! Understanding a client’s needs and desires, and putting every ounce of knowledge and experience into trying to make it happen, is as utterly rewarding for me as it undoubtedly is for every client.

Attention to detail is so important when launching your biggest, most valuable asset into the global marketplace.  Getting it right the first time can be measured in £’s. That first foray into the market should be executed with every effort made in every aspect of the marketing. From the initial advice on how to present your home, to the preparation for a professional photo shoot, do not rush this process! Once out there it is compared, contrasted and scrutinised. For my clients I will always spend the time to get this right, afterall we are going to want to see the best financial outcome here so let’s put the best version of your asset out there.

During the marketing process I will personally handle all enquiries and viewings. Buyers will be effectively communicated with initially so that their requirements are understood and they will be as pre-sold as possible. Every opportunity is literally just that, an opportunity, and again the devil is in the detail. When interest and offers come forward the background knowledge we uncover, the context to the purchase, can be as valuable as a buyer’s financial situation. Advice will be given for you the seller’s benefit, not mine, always. I have always believed that a buyer’s motivation is the key aspect in the likelihood of the sale transacting and whatever deal we put together is one we want to stay together.

My initial instructions and successes have mainly come from properties that had tried the traditional route and for different reasons did not quite succeed in selling.
