Ivinghoe is a small village in Buckinghamshire, set at the foot of the Chiltern Hills within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the ancient wood land of The Ashridge Estate. In the High Street you will find the Village Shop and Post Office. There is also a Florist, The Green Room, and The Windmill Pharmacy. The quintessential village green, ‘Ivinghoe Lawn’, with its Village Hub is centrally located, offering a lovely family orientated space. The much loved Rose & Crown Public House and the ever popular Ivinghoe Golf Club are also close by.
The famous Ivinghoe Beacon is situated just outside the village. A prominent hill and the site of an early Iron Age Hillfort which loves a popular place for walkers and sightseers. There is also The Pitstone Windmill, a grade II listed windmill built in the 17th Century and stands in a large field near the parish boundary of Ivinghoe and the neighboring village of Pitstone.
