Property Description

Jon-Paul Brampton presents...a spacious detached family home with far reaching countryside views in picturesque Pitstone.

The Property

If it is a quiet location with views over local countryside that you are looking for,  then this could be the home for you!

This spacious detached home has been extended over time to create a well proportioned and balanced family home with tremendous views to the rear. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this house offers a quiet position, and yet is just a short stroll away from local amenities.

Entering into the main entrance hallway, there is space for shoe and coat storage and a downstairs WC for convenience. A large living/dining room boasts a wood burning stove as its central focal point. A large space that offers plenty of room for a living, with a dining area located directly off of it. There is a large conservatory extension with underfloor heating that makes the very most of the tremendous views to the rear. You can imagine enjoying this space and views, with friends and family, no matter what the weather!

The shaker-style kitchen is adjacent with a good range of cupboards and granite worktops. A large range cooker sits centre stage, making this a great place to cook as well as tp entertain. There is a separate utility room for washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a separate boot room. There is front to back access here making for an exceedingly practical family home. The garage also has internal access.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms and a stunning four piece family bathroom. Boasting a freestanding tub and separate walk in shower this room really has the wow factor. The main bedroom has a dressing area and separate ensuite shower room.

Externally there is a block paved driveway to the front, offering parking and a large secure storage shed. The garage has a car port immediately to the front providing additional parking. The rear garden really showcases the position of this home, directly backing onto miles of countryside, offering uninterrupted views. There is a large patio area with a hot tub positioned to really make the most of the views and demonstrate the lifestyle which this home offers.

All in all a tremendous home, but please do not just take my word for it, please browse the photos and watch the video tour and if you think this could be the home for you then please get in touch.

The Location

In terms of location, Pitstone has a lot to offer. A small village in Buckinghamshire which is joined to picturesque Ivinghoe. There is the quintessential Cricket pitch and recreational ground nearby, with a local shop and cafe just a stones' throw away. The amenities of Ivinghoe High Street are not far away where you'll find a Post Office, Library, Florist and Pharmacy. A Doctors surgery is about a few minute's stroll.

Set within an Area of Outstanding Beauty on the fringes of the Ashridge Estate and awe inspiring open spaces of the ancient Ridgeway path and Ivinghoe Beacon, there really is something for everyone. With the market towns of Berkhamsted and Tring just a short drive away, the village offers the best of both worlds; a semi-rural feel with every amenity within easy striking distance.

In terms of transport it is just a five minute drive to Tring Station with its regular service into London Euston. The A41 bypass is closely providing easy access to the M25 & M1. And if its schools you are after then the village is served by the Windmill Nursery School for pre-school, Brookmead School for primary, and then a fantastic choice of the Grammar schools of Aylesbury, or the nearby Tring School and The Cottesloe School for secondary education.
